Directions to the Park
From the North: take Alt 19 South and make a right onto Florida Ave. From the South: take Alt 19 North and make a left onto Florida Ave. Located at the Corner of Florida Avenue and 8th Street, by the Gulf.
Race Times
1/2 Marathon & 5K will start at 7:30 AM
$500 Prize Money
1st place overal Male & Female: $125 2nd place overall Male & Female: $75 3rd place overall Male & Female: $50
Cost
1/2 Marathon $40 until Oct 31st and $50 through Nov 6th. 5K $17.00 until Oct 31st and $18.00 through Nov 6th.
Packet Pickup and EXPO
Held at American Running Company(1689 Main St, Dunedin, FL) on Saturday Nov 6th from 11:00 until 5:00 PM. 727-736-8232. Great Deals on Newton Running Shoes will be had.
Timing
1/2 Marathon and 5K races will be CHIP TIMED.
1/2 Marathon Participant Items
Each 1/2 marathoner will receive a: LONG SLEEVE Technical Jersey;BLUE MOON Sports Bottle;and a finisher's medal.
5K Participants Items
LONG SLEVE TECHNICAL JERSEY guaranteed to early and pre registered participants.
Race Awards 1/2 marathon & 5K
Overall (Male/Female; Master Male/Female; and Racewalker Over/Under 55 years of age male/female) Age Group Awards: 3 Deep in standard age groups starting at 19 & Under (for 1/2 marathon and 9 & Under for 5K). Racewalker Age Group Awards. 3 Deep in Over/Under 55 years of age.
Post Race Party
Wonderful food to all participants There will also be raffles for both the 5K and 1/2 marathoners. Including NEWTON RUNNING SHOES
Course
NEW ROUTE!! The 1/2 MARATHON will be run through downtown Plam Harbor and then on the Pinellas Trail in a spectator friendly course. The 5K will run through downtown Palm Harbor.
